Record a loop, riff over it, every pass saved as a take.
Record loop
Riff / overdub
Set your tempo and bar count, then hit Record — or leave Bars blank to record endlessly and stop whenever you like. Your browser will ask for mic access.
Using AirPods? Keep them for listening only and set the Microphone above to your device's built-in mic (Deja VU picks it automatically when it can). Recording through the AirPods' own mic forces Bluetooth into phone-call mode — that's the muffled "filtered" sound — and makes latency worse. For the tightest timing, wired headphones are still the gold standard.

Export
WAVs are mono, 16-bit, at your device sample rate — drop them straight into any DAW. All loop-length files line up bar-for-bar. The mixdown applies your track gains — cranked into the red, it clips just like playback. Stems export raw so you keep full range in the DAW.
